Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use this website, how I use it, and the choices you have. I'm Zazie Peltier, and I operate this site as a sole proprietor.

Information I collect

Contact form. When you send a message through the contact page, I receive your name, email address, and message.

Free chart and guide. The free chart page uses an embedded tool from Bodygraph to calculate your Human Design chart. You enter your birth date, birth time, and birth location into that tool. Bodygraph, not me, collects and controls that information. I do not receive or store your birth details, and Bodygraph handles them under its own privacy policy, which says it may store details such as your first name, email address, and birth date and place. To download your chart or personalized guide, you are asked for your name and email address. I receive that name and email address, and they are added to my email list (see "Email list" below). Entering your email on this page subscribes you to my list only, not to Bodygraph's.

Email list. When you enter your email address to download your chart or guide, you are subscribing to my email list. I use it to send you your guide, followed by a short series of emails about Human Design and my readings, and occasional updates after that. I use Kit to store your email address and send these messages. Kit may also record whether you open or click links in my emails, so I can see which messages are useful. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

Booking a reading. Booking buttons take you to Calendly, which collects the details you give to schedule a session. I receive those details from Calendly so I can prepare for and deliver your reading.

Automatic information. Like most websites, the hosting provider and the third-party services described below may receive your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit.

How I use your information

  • To reply to your questions and messages
  • To send you your free guide and emails about Human Design and my services, if you subscribed
  • To schedule and deliver readings and coaching sessions
  • To keep the site secure and working properly
  • To meet legal or tax obligations

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use it for automated decision-making.

Third-party services

This site relies on a few outside services, each with its own privacy policy:

  • Netlify hosts the site and processes contact form submissions.
  • Bodygraph powers the free chart calculator and chart and guide downloads.
  • Kit stores my email list and sends my emails.
  • Calendly handles session booking.
  • Google Fonts serves the site's typeface, which means your browser requests it from Google and your IP address is shared.
  • LinkedIn receives your information only if you click through to my profile.

These services may set their own cookies. This site does not run advertising or analytics trackers of its own. Emails sent through Kit may use tracking to record opens and clicks.

Cookies

I don't set cookies myself. The embedded chart tool and booking page may use cookies to function, and Bodygraph's policy says it also uses analytics and marketing cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.

How long I keep your information

I keep your email address on my list until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove it. I keep messages and booking details for as long as needed to respond to you and provide services, and afterward only as long as required for record keeping or legal reasons. You can ask me to delete them at any time.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and I use reputable providers to handle your data. No online service is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from my emails at any time, either with the link in any email or by contacting me.

California residents have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. I do not sell or share personal information, and I won't treat you differently for making a request.

Residents of the EU and UK may also object to or restrict certain processing and can complain to their local data protection authority.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent me personal information, please contact me and I'll delete it.

Health and wellness disclaimer

Human Design readings are offered for personal reflection and are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Please don't share sensitive health details through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top of this page.
